DNR Grant Awarded to LLIA

I want to share a quick note that we've been awarded $2,100 from the DNR towards aquatic invasive species treatment for 2023.  This will be applied to our summer weed treatment, which cost $4,500 last year.

Big thanks to the chair of our Water Quality Committee, Jennifer Tenenbaum, for submitting the application and coordinating our treatment.  The weed delineation mapping will be performed by Rice Creek Watershed District in May and we'll target June for the treatment through our new partner, Lake Management, Inc.  We switch to their service last year and they were very responsive.
